Chances are, you or someone you know has built a computer instead of purchasing an already assembled computer. If you have, then you know the different parts and how a computer works. What I have found is a computer needs things such as a processor, a monitor and a storage unit. The monitor displays the images that the processor calculates. Within the processor, there are smaller working parts of the computer. These working parts are approaching atomic size which is what gives a computer the ability to work more quickly and also have more storage because more bits are able to fit in the computer.

They still use the same basic principles of bits, except instead in a quantum computer it is called a qubit (quantum bit). The information comes out as either a 1 or a 0, but the difference is that they can do multiple calculations at one time. The way that this is possible, is that the CPU allows the atoms to pass through it but it. Inside the qubit essentially becomes a Schrodinger’s Cat. They are not being observed, so the electrons have both 1 and 0 spin. While it is in this uncertain state, each qubit can do two calculations at the same time, which doubles the speed and storage of the computer. While this is an amazing feat and will improve the efficiency of business and personal lives personal lives, it can also be used to create a security system that a normal computer could not hack. In other words an uncrackable security system, could be created. This also can be flipped around and the computer could be used to hack in half the time and break any code set forth by a normal computer.
